Procedure to obtain a visa for Hong Kong

A China visa only allows one to visit mainland China(except Tibet) while Hong Kong only allows one to visit Hong Kong. Where in China are you going to visit?

What's the purpose of your travel? The visa type differs based on the travel purpose.
Here are the requirements for Hong Kong visit visa for your reference:
1. visa application form ID1003A and one recent photograph
2. copy of your travel document, financial standing, e.g. bank statements, savings accounts passbooks, tax receipts, etc. and proof of employment (if any), e.g. company leave letter, salary slips, etc.
3. copy of proof of transportation arrangement, e.g. flight itinerary
4. copy of proof of the proposed leisure visit to Hong Kong, e.g. receipt of joining a package tour to Hong Kong, itinerary, etc. (for leisure visit only)

The sponsor of you needs to submit:
(i) For application in which the sponsor is a Company:
Application for Entry for Visit/Transit (Sponsor) in Hong Kong (ID 1003B)
copy of Business Registration Certificate
(ii) For application in which the sponsor is an Individual:
Application for Entry for Visit/Transit (Sponsor) in Hong Kong (ID 1003B)
copy of the sponsor's Hong Kong identity card
copy of the sponsor's travel document containing personal particulars, date of issue, date of expiry, and the latest arrival stamp/extension of stay label in the HKSAR (for non-permanent resident of the HKSAR only)
