Australian Citizen. Living in Shenzhen working in Hong Kong. Visa requirement?

I am an Australian Citizen. I wish to live in Shenzhen while working in Hong Kong.
I want to know the following:
Will an 'L' type visa allow me to travel freely across the border?
Is there a limit to the number of border crossings for the 'L' visa?
Is there an alternative visa option?
Thank you in advance for you reply.

1.A muti-entry L Visa can allow you to travel freely across the border, but this kind of visa is difficult to get;
2.Provided that you have obtained a muti-entry L visa,everytime you go to Shenzhen from HK, one page of your blank visa page will be sealed.Your blank visa page will be used up soon and you have to take the trouble of applying for new blank visa frequently.
3.So frankly speaking,it is not convenient for you to live in Shenzhen and work in HK.
