HK tourist visa for Iranian citizen, sponsored by EU citizen

I'm a EU passport holder trying to visit Hong Kong with a friend who lives in Iran (Iranian passport). I will sponsor her for everything. My friend is currently not working, not studying and does not own property, does not have own children, hence very little ties to Iran. Would it be likely that my friend gets a tourist visa for HK issued at the Chinese Embassy in Tehran?
Thanks for any views/tips

I think so, but you may have to provide an additional letter of sponsorship for his Hk visa application. meanwhile copy of your passport and your bank accoun/statement will be also needed for her.
