I have met a Chinese lady and we are thinking of getting married. She has a visitors Visa adn will be coming into Australia next month, but What are the legal requirements of us being able to get married, and what do we have to comply with?

If you want to register your marriage in China, you both need to prepare a Single Status Certificate and a Birth certificate.  I am not sure if you need these documents if you want to get married in Australia. Ask your immigration about it first. BTW, prepare your passport and notarised translations in Chinese of all originals not in Chinese.
