About:Chinese Embassy in Sweden

applying from USA to stockholm

Im currently in the States and I need to apply for a tourist visa L.
Im not sure if I will be able to apply at the embassy in Los Angeles.
I have in total 10 business days until april 22 to have my passport in hand for return trip to sweden before departing to china on april 26. What is the quickest way to apply? Can I send my application directly from the states to the service center in stockholm? Will you be able to send it back to me in the States via UPS?

You can apply for the China visa in Los Angeles, since if you apply for the visa through post to the service center in stockholm, it will take a longer time and you have to bear the risk of losing some of your papers for the application.

If I apply in Los Angeles, what do I fill in on the form V.2011B question D2 where it asks for what kind of visa I have? since Im on ESTA I don't have any visa. Will the answer be None?

If you are visa free to USA, you cna just fill N/A on the form V.2011B question D2. You may also contact the Los Angeles China consulate to make a enquiry about your visa application first to make sure you can get the visa successfully.
