My company wants to open liaison office in China for sourcing raw materials and finished products can we get
Chinese Temporary Residence Permit and what is the procedure for obtaining Residence permit

You have to apply for a proper China visa to enter China first, and then apply for a residence permit of China at the local public security bureau within 30 days of your entry to China with Passport, Accommodation registration printout from the police, Physical examination results and the fee.

To establish a liaison office in China, the procedure may be complicated. You'd better contact the local China embassy or consulate directly or go there in person to know about it. After the liaison office is set up, it will be easier for the officers to apply for a China work visa to enter and stay China with a residence permit.
