visa for china via hongkong and back to china and hongkong

dear sir : i would like to visit china ( +- 25 mai till june 5th ) for business : I would like to fly to hongkong and take train to Guangzhou to visit the fair. After , i would like to go back to honkkong to take flight to Shanghai also for business and come back to hongkong and guangzhou again. How many visa do i need pls ?
What do i need to apply for my visa ? foto - invitation - etc ? When do i apply for visa -how long will it take because i dont have tickets yet ? thks

Why you go back to Hk so many times between the trip to Guangzhou and Shanghai? Why not travel between Guangzhou and Shanghai directly?

According to your present plan, you will have to apply for a multiple entry China visa. You need the following documents for the visa application:
1. your passport that should has more than 6 months validity and over two blank pages
2. completely filled visa application form
3. invitation letter of duly authorized unit or confirmation of invitation
4. air ticket

You may apply for the visa around one month in advance. The visa application procedure usually takes 4 working days.
