About:China Consulate in Houston

I am traveling to Hong Kong 7/31/2012 to 8/5/2012. How far in advance may I apply for my visa?

I am flying into Hong Kong from Singapore. May I secure a visa on arrival at the airport?

US passport holders are exempt from visa to Hk for 90 days in fact.
