You may just renew your passport at the Embassy or India in Bangkok. The required documents are:
1. Passport Application Form signed by the applicant and photograph (blue background) pasted at the space provided.
2. Two additional photographs 3.5 cm x 3.5 cm (blue background).
3. Original Passports with photocopy of all pages of personal particulars and current visa page.
4. Original Work Permit/Tangdeo (Alien Certificate)/Permanent Residence Permit with photocopy.
5. Authority letter if applicant cannot come personally.

It takes six working days normally.
