Dual citizen in China

hi good day! i have something to ask about my situation. ive been married for 7 months of my chinese wife then we have a marriage cert. from NSO Phil. then after i finished my work here in the ship i planned to stay longer to there hometown in guangdong mainland china because we planned again for second wedding in there tradition. is it possible to have a dual citizen in there hometown and work there? please send me a reply.. xie xie..

China doesn't accept dual nationalities in fact. If you plan to apply for Chinese nationality, you must give up your Filipino nationality. Meanwhile, it's very hard to get a Chinese citizenship, since China is not an immigration country like Australia and Canada.
