About:Chinese Embassy in South Korea

in korea wanting to travel to china

i am just wondering about the remaining 6 months validity.. does someone know from which point on i need the 6 months validity? from the point when i apply for the visa or when i come back to korea? does anyone know about that?

Your passport should be with at least 6 months validity left from the date of the application.

well my passport or the korean visa? cause I thought my alien registration card needs a certain validity??? at least this is what I read so far! but i am not sure from which date on the 6 months count, you know what I'm talking about?
Cause I am German citizen living in Korea at the moment...

You mean you are alien in South Korea? Then your passport should be with at least 6 months validity left from the date of the application and your alien registration card in South Korea must also be with at least 6 months remaining validity.
