About:China Work Visa

Z visa denied for no reason given

Hello.

I applied a Z visa at the Chinese Embassy in the Philippines with complete documents from my employer in China like working permit for foreigners, medical exam, working invitation and working contract. I was denied for no reasons and when I ask them why they'd just said that they don't really give out reasons. Is that even possible?

Can I get a tourist visa instead even if I already have a working permit for China?

China Embassy does have the right to reject any visa application without giving any reason. I advise you check your application documents with that listed on the official website of the embassy again. And then re-submit your application to the embassy. Since you will go to China for work, you'd better apply for a China work visa to avoid unforeseen troubles when you in China.
