About:Chinese Permanent Residence Permit

i have a resident permit for foreigner in china that expires 01 may 2012 can I get it renewed here

I am now in china

Yes, you can renew your Residence Permit for Foreigner in China at the local Exit-Entry Administrative Department of Public Security Bureau, how did you get the residence permit? do you work in China or reside in China?
