About:Chinese Consulate in Chicago

If we are traveling to Beijing and Hong Kong as a family of 3 three, does each of us need a visa?

I am traveling to Tokyo, Hong Kong and Beijing on a vacation that was planned on short notice, taking along two adult children ages 18 and 22. Does each of us need a visa or just one of us? I live in the Chicago suburbs and was planning on using the Chicago consulate. We leave on the 23rd of March. Thanks

Each of you need a China visa, you can apply for China visa at Chinese Consulate in Chicago, please submit visa application as soon as possible, it takes 4 working days for regular service, if you submit application on March 19, you can collect your visa on March 22, 2012. One of your family can submit the visa application on behalf of the other family members. There is no need for all applicants to come to the consulate in person.
