Hi, my boss is south korean national and now staying in philippines for businessHe is planning to visit china this march for a couple of days maybe maximum of 4days .. Does he need to apply for  a visa? If he do needs a visa. whats requirements needed. and how long will it take? Thanks hope to hear from you.

Yes, he does have to apply for a China visa. The requirements vary from different travel purpose. If he just for tourism, then his valid passport, fully filled visa application from V2011a & V2011B, one apassport standard photo and two-way air tickets will be enough for the application.It takes around 4 working days for the China Embassy to issue the visa for you.
