Can I travel from mainland to Hong Kong and back to mainland in a mutiple entry visa?

When I applied for my visa, I was not aware that I might travel to Hong Kong. I have been asked by my office to go to HKG for a meeting. Would I be able to re-enter China mainland if I carry a multiple entry visa?

Yes, you can enter China again if you are holding a multiple entry China visa. But make sure that your visa is still valid when you re-enter China.
