How to extend my visa in Dalian China?

I am a Filipino. I have a tourist visa (L) and the duration to stay in Dalian China is only !0 days and I will be staying in Dalian, How can I extend it? Do I need to go to China embassy in Dalian or I don't know if they have it there. What are the requirements and how? How many days extension I can have if ever I can extend it?
I need some answer soon as you can. My date of entry is on March 6, 2012.

You can enter China first, and extend your L visa at local PSB when you are in Dalian few days before the visa expires. Requirements are your passport and copy, your China visa with copy, as well as the registration form after entry. Generally, you will be issued a new L visa with another 10 days.

Hi I just had same problem here in Dalian. Did you manage to get a extension of L type in Dalian? Please let me know, how it works and how long did it take.

Yuya, you just need to submit required documents at least 7 days before your current L type expires. Then the whole process takes about another seven days.
