Can you tell me your nationality? Japanese ordinary passport holders are exempt from a visa to Mainland China for up to 15 days, your 2 Japanese children don't need a visa. You need to apply for a China visa, can you tell me where do you live in Japan? China embassy in Tokyo and China consulate in Fukuoka, Nagasaki, Nagoya, Osaka, Sapporo and Niigata have different consular districts.
