About:Chinese Consulates in South Korea

Does a tourist visa to China from Korea require 6 months remaining on my Korean Visa?

I am a New Zealand citizen wanting to travel to Shanghai in April. I am staying in Korea with an E2 working visa that will expire with my contract in early July. Does this mean I am unable to travel to China with a visa applied for from Korea?

What about the validity of youy alien registration card in South Korea? If it is also with less than 6 months validity, I'm afraid you will be not able to apply for a China visa there. You can try to apply for a China visa from the China visa office in Hk or Macau instead.
