About:Chinese Embassy in U.S.A.

If I get a tourist visa to China, do I also need to get authentication of any documents?

You don't need to get authentication of any documents if you get a tourist visa to China. If you want to marry a Chinese citizen, you need to get a single status affidavit authenticated.
