visa for china with 2 months valid ARC card

Hi
My embassy in South Africa told me to apply for a visa directly in Seoul and not here while I was in South Africa. I'm in Korea now and have only 2 months left on my ARC. Can you help me please?

Have you visited Mainland China in the last 2 years? Is there a previously used China visa sticker and entry record on your old or new passport?

If you say 'no' to the above two questions, you can't get a China visa in Korea because you don't hold a ARC with at least 6 months remaining validity.
