Transit Visa for Airport Hotel

We have a 15 hour lay over and was going to use the Airport Hotel which in within the airport, do we need to get a visa before we leave Australia?

You don't need to get a transit visa before you leave Australia, please show your flight tickets when you arrive in the airport.
