How do I go from Urumqi to Tibet? Can I get permit of Tibet in Urumqi?

No direct trains or flights are available. So, you have to make a transfer at Lanzhou or Xining. For the Tibet Travel Permit, you can contact some travel agencies in Urumqi to arrange it for you.
