About:Chinese Embassy in Iran

Dear Sir, I am an Iranian who invited by a company in Hong Kong.

This company has relation with another company in Dubai that can acts as my sponsor. Can I take Hong Kong visa through Hong Kong embassy in Dubai? How long does it take?

There is no Hong Kong embassy in Dubai in fact. You should apply for the Hk visa through the China Consulate-general in Dubai. Normally, it takes 4 weeks for the Hk immigration office to process a visa application.

The main question is, since I am not Dubai resident or dweller, can I apply for HK visa from Dubai.

I'm afraid that your Hong Kong visa application maybe denied because you can't provide UAE resident visa valid for more than 6 months. However, your sponsor is a company in Dubai, you can have a try if you are in Dubai now. The application by post is not accepted by China consulate in Dubai.
