Can i extend my China tourist visa to 90 days or more?

am a ugandan citizen in china beijing, i came as a visitor but i want to extend my visa because the one i have is soon expiring. can i extend it to 90 days or more or get an f category and how please help me.

Visa can't be extended once it expired. If you do have to stay longer than the duration approved on your visa by the China Embassy, you may go to the local public security Bureau to apply for extension of stay in China, but you must provide acceptable proof for that.
You can't change your present tourist L visa to F visa in China, either.
