Family visa is ok to apply resident permit

Hi Good Day,

I'm working in the china and i have my resident permit. I want my family to go here in china. My question is that, if they get a Family visa(category L) to go to china isthey allowed to apply for resident permit here in china carrying the Family visa.

It is not easy to change L visa for family visit to residence permit in China. You can try to do it at the local exit-entry administrative department of public security bureau. Maybe the L visa will be allowed to extend twice, 3 months duration of stay at most.
