1. yes, you need a visa to China.2. there is a Consulate General of China in Mumbai, and you should apply for the visa from the cosulate general if you are living in the area that is under its Consular Jurisdiction.3. You can either apply for the visa from the consulate in person or entrust a travel agency. The normal visa procedure takes 4 working days. The duration will be approved by the consular officers according to the documents you provided. Usually, the duration of a China tourist visa is 30 days.4. US passport holders are visa free to Hk for 90 days and to macau for 30 days in fact.5. Usually, you are permitted to enter and stay in China for less than 30 days for each entry.6. Applications by courier or through mail are accepted by the Consulate General of China in Mumbai.
