You may just go to the China embassy or consualte general where your living area is under the Jurisdiction to apply for a China tourist visa. As a first time applicant, you have to prepare the following documents:
1. your filipino passport with at least two blank pages and 6 months validity and photo copy of the filled emergency contact information page of your passport;
2. A truly and ful-filled application form affixed with one passport-size or 2x2 colored photo, with white background, full-face front view, and no hat;
3. Invitation letter from your boyfriend with a copy of his valid Chinese residence visa and passport information page;
4. Original NBI clearance valid for travel abroad;
5.Original bank certificate with receipt or original passbook; if your boyfriend will sponsor the trip, please let him provide his bank certificate;
6. If you are employed in philippines, you also have to provide an employment certificate, including the company ID, SSS ID and contributions, TIN ID and latest ITR.
You also have to prepare 1400 peso (for a single-entry visa) for the visa fee.
