About:China Business Visa

Visa F, Entries M, Duration 60

I entered China on Dec 15th, and counting 60 days must leave on Feb 13th. I have a business meeting on the Feb 22nd and would prefer to not leave the country.

If I apply for an extension I will lose my "M" status?
Is there a maximum days allowed in China per year?
Does length of stay have any tax implications?

Thank you in advance!

Yes, you will lose your "M" status if you apply for an extension of business visa.

There is a maximum days of 365 days allowed in China per year. A length of stay has the tax implications, for 330 days stay in China, you pay tax of China.

You'd better exit Mainland China on Feb 13, 2012, then return to Mainland for another 60 days duration of stay. Go to Hong Kong or Macau means that you exit Mainland China.
