About:China Visa Fees

Will an airport transit in beijing be counted as my single entry for my visa?

I transit through Beijing on my way to mongolia, but will be returning 20 days later for a tour through china. I will be in beijing airport for 8 hours before my connecting flight to mongolia.
I will be applying for my visa before departing Australia but will not be wanting to use it until i return for my tour in china.
Will this transit be counted as my entry?

If the flights you change in Beijing don't belong to one airline company, the transit is regarded as one entry, the immigration will make entry stamp on your visa, then you can't use the visa to return to China for a tour from Mongolia, if the flights you change in Beijing belong to one airline company, it is regarded as a transit, no entry stamp will be made on your visa and passport.

To ensure your trip, please apply for a double-entry tourist visa.
