Consulate General of China in Brisbane: Queensland
Consulate General of China in Melbourne: Victoria, Tasmania
Consulate General of China in Perth: Western Australia
Consulate General of China in Sydney: New South Wales

There are Chinese Visa Application Service Center in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney, if you study in Queensland, Victoria, Tasmania or New South Wales, you have to apply visa through the center.
