New Zealander visiting husband who works in China

I'm a New Zealander who wants to visit and stay with my husband (also a NZ'er) who works in China. What are the maximum days allowed on a tourist visa and would this be the best visa to apply for? I was hoping to stay for approx 12 weeks. Have tried several times to contact the Chinese Embassy in NZ but they don't answer their phone! Thanks, Jacqui

If you apply for a tourist visa for family visit, the maximum days of stay in China is 90 days, it is the best visa for you to apply if you won't stay in China with your husband till the end of his work, in fact, you can apply for work visa as an accompanying family member of your husband, but it is complex to organize the required documents.

Your husband needs to send the photocopy of his passport, work permit and residence permit to you, the marriage certificate is also very helpful for your application.
