Transit through China on a temporary passport

Hello

I am travelling to Cambodia in March and I have a stopover in China. My current passport expires in August and so I will be applying for a temporary passport as well (my current passport will have less than 6 months validity at my time of travel).

Does anyone know if I will have a problem in China, when I stopover, with my temporary passport? I will also be taking my current passport with me.

If anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

You won't have a problem for the stopover in China with your temporary passport. However, I have a question, why don't you renew your passport for a regular passport? Why do you apply for a temporary passport?
