It takes 10 working days or longer to get a new Chinese passport. You can apply for a Chinese passport through China consulate in New York because you live in New York.

Please provide the following documents:
1. complete Chinese passport application form
2. four passport photos taken in recent 6 months
3. Chinese passport and photocopy of the pages with personal information, US visa, China exit record and US entry record
4. the residence permit of US or other country and photocopies

Please submit the application in person.
