U.S. permanent resident with a multiple entry permits to Hong Kong

I have to stay in Hong Kong for 15 days due to the flight booking error. If I stay in Hong Kong for 12 days, then leave for Macao for 5 hours, can I return to Hong Kong on the same day for another 14 days stay, in order to catch the flight back to the U.S. 3 days after the Macao trip? Thank you.
