Can Korean get a China visa while travelling in Malaysia?

I am a Korean, staying in China with a singular travel visa, and I'm plannin to visit Malaysia during Chinese New Year. As far as I understand, Koreans don't need visa to visit Malaysia up to 90 days. But after my trip to Malaysia (4-5days), I have to come back to China. And I am concerned that processing visa procedure can take a long time and be complicated in the 3rd country. (Since I am a Korean trying to get a visa to China in Malaysia.) Is there any simplier and quicker way I can solve this problem?

It is not a good idea to apply a China visa in Malaysia for Korean nationals.

An applicant holding a passport other than Malaysian passport should provide the original and a copy of his or her permanent residence or work permit which should be valid for at least 6 months and a copy of the passport first page (except for those who are visa or permit exempt for residing or working in the Malaysia). If there is any special request, you will be informed during submission.

You don't work or reside in Malaysia, maybe your application will be denied.
