Does a Canadian (passport holder) need a tourist visa for a 2 week trip to the Philippines?

I was told a visa was not needed for a 2 week trip, just buy round trip tix and get on a plane... But then I went online and a website said a tourist visa is required...so I'm confused now.

A Canadian passport holder doesn't need a tourist vsia for a 2 weeks trip to the Philippines. Canadian nationals who are traveling to the Philippines for business and tourism purposes are allowed to enter the Philippines without visas for a stay not exceeding twenty-one (21) days, provided they hold valid tickets for their return journey to port of origin or next port of destination and their passports are valid for a period of at least six (6) months beyond the period of stay.
