About:China Visa

Can i enter China on an L category, entries 2, duration 90 each days, then get work in China?

I intend to teach English as a second language in Urumuqi, Xinjiang Province.
Is it possible to get an L category visa, double entry, 90 day duration for each entry, then, when i am in Urumuqi arrange with my employer to obtain a work permit?

There is little chance for one to get an L category visa, double entry, 90 day duration for each entry.
You can arrange your work permit in China with an L visa, but cannot work here under L visa. Why not ask your employee to arrange the work permit and invitation letter needed for a work visa? Then you can apply for a work visa to come to work in China?
