Certificate from a cooperative instead of a bank certificate

Hi! Would it be acceptable if I would use a certificate from a cooperative instead of a bank certificate? I am refering to the 50,000 pesos that was required. This is in connection with my F student visa application. I would be going to China as a foreign exchange student.

it works like a corporation where people would pool their resources for certain purposes of development. it functions like a bank where its members would deposit their money as savings and where they may also apply for a loan at a much lower interest rate...
