About:Chinese Embassy in Philippines

Can I process a China visa in Cebu, Philippines that can allow my wife to stay more that 30 days?

Hi, am a Filipino working in China with a Z visa, I want to know if it’s possible to get a visa for my wife so that she can stay in china with me! My wife is already been to China for two times. Can I process a visa in Cebu, Philippines that can allow my wife to stay more that 30 days? Or get a 30 days visa and then process it in China when she arrives. What is the best option if there is for me to do this processing? I’m in Beijiao, Shunde, Foshan, Guangdong, China.

It is the best for your wife to apply for a Dependent Visa in Cebu, Philippines. After she enters China by holding a dependent visa, she can apply for a Residence Permit in the Exit-Entry Adminsitrative Department of Foshan Public Security Bureau.

The requirements for your wife to apply for dependent visa:
1. Proof of relationship - marriage contract
2. An original invitation letter or confirmation of invitation issued by Foshan Foreign Affairs Office
3. Copy of your valid residence visa, working visa, working card and passport information page.
4. a Physical Examination Certificate for Foreign Citizen (physical exam forms, guidelines and list of accredited hospitals are available at the visa counter).
5. her passport with blank pages and at least 12 months validity left before expiration.
6. A truly and completely filled application form affixed with one passport-size or 2x2 colored photo, with white background, full-face front view, and no hat. Photo must be glued on the application form. Stapled pictures will not be accepted. Scanned photos will also not be accepted.
7. The emergency contact information page in her passport should be filled out and photocopied.
