follow up for first-time chinese passport application

Question

I applied for a first timer china passport last oct.18,2011.   All the requirements were completely submitted and I was instructed to wait 1-2 months for approval.  Today is Dec.23 ,exactly 2 months and 5 days already and yet I haven't received any call from China Embassy in the Philippines. How will I know if my application was approved or not, what number to contact?  where to follow it up? pls. help tnx.

this is not the offical website of Cina embassy in the Philippines, the staff of embassy can't read your question here, please call 63-2-8482395 (Manila embassy) to enquire the status of your Chinese passport.
