About:China Transit Visa

Is a Transit Visa required for 28 hours stopover in beijing?

My friend and i have a 28 hour layover in Beijing on our way from Vancouver to Delhi and we would clearly want to leave the airport for a bit. I'm assuming we would need a transit visa but I am just making sure?

Yes, you both need a transit visa per person because the stopover is more than 24 hours and you want to leave the airport.
