About:China Embassy in Thailand

Can I get a visa to china in Bangkok as a swiss citizen ?

I am going to Thailand next january and then I want to go to China. Can I get a visa directly in the ambassy in Bangkok ?

Yes, it is possible for you to get a single-entry China tourist visa from Thailand. But I cannot guarantee.
Why don't you obtain one in your home country, in which case the chance to get it is greater. Also, the visa can be valid for as long as 3 months starting the issuing date.

Thank you for your answer. As you say, I think I will get the visa in my country. The reason why I would have prefer to get it in Bangkok is that I have to do 250 kilometers to get it in Switzerland... But if it is more reliable, I will do it !
