china tourist visa application in milan

Question

My son and I hold Italian passport.  We will visit Hong Kong in mid December, and from there would like to join a group tour to Shanghai for 4 days. It would be too late if we apply the tourist visa to China only when we'll arrive Hong Kong. We want to apply the visa here in Milan before we book and pay the tour.  What do we need besides the V.2011A  form,?

Besides the filled V.2011A Form, you also need to provide your original passport, one recently-taken passport photo, the invitation letter issued by the group tour organizer, if you can't provide the invitation letter, the visa officer will consider you are an individual traveler and ask you to provide return ticket or hotel order in china
