About:China Visa on Arrival

Visa On Arrival of Shenzen

Hi, I'm Indonesian citizen, i have a plan to go to Shenzen from Hong Kong on 11 Dec 2011, only for 3 days in Shenzen, then back to Hong Kong. Can i have get a visa on arrival at Luo Hu border ? or do i have apply of Shenzen VOA in Hong Kong ? where ? or do i have apply of Shenzen VOA at embassy of China in Jakarta - Indonesia ? I have already booked the hotel in Shenzen for that date. Thank you.

You can try to apply for a visa on arrival at Luo Hu border, however, I can't 100% sure that you can get it. If you have been Mainland China and you can provide the copy of previousely used China visa, the chance of getting a 5 days Shenzhen visa on arrival at Luo Hu border is enhanced.

If you want to obtain a visa in Jakarta-Indonesia, you have to apply for China tourist visa which entitles you to visit Mainland China. The Shenzhen VOA only entitles you to visit Shenzhen.
