About:China Visa Application Procedure and Fee

Chinese Visa Type

Hi, I am travelling through Asia and would like to tour through China for the first half of April 2012 (arrive Hong Kong, move north to Beijing). I am leaving early January 2012.
Do I need to sort the tourist visa before I leave Australia? If so, then I will will have to get a 6 month visa correct (to ensure it is valid when I arrive).
Thank you, any help is appreciated.
Jason

A single entry tourist visa is only valid for 3 months, if you leave Australia in early Jan 2012 and obtain a China visa in Australia in Jan 2012, maybe it expires when you go to China in the first half of April 2012. You have to make a well-planned travel itinerary if you want to apply for China visa in Australia.

In fact, it is also possible for you to apply for a China tourist visa in Thailand or other countries in Asia on your route.
