About:Chinese Embassy in Vietnam

China Visa for staying overnight in Guangzhou

I have a Chinese Visa for 6 months expiry date Mar20-12 I fly out of HCMC on may20-12 for Guangzhou and have to over night in hotel there, How do I get visa for over night in Guangxhou and fly next day to Vanc. canada. I am now in Nha Trang till May

Your China visa will be invalid at the time you are in Guangzhou. In this case, you have two choices in order to stay overnight outside the airport.
1. apply for a transit visa inadvance
2. obtain a transit stamp upon arrival at the airport and then go out of the airport
