About:Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport

international flight from South Korea into Guangzhou for my connecting flight back to the US

I am flying China Southern from South Korea into Guangzhou for my connecting flight back to the United States. will i have to go through immigration/security again, or will i just be able to continue onto my next departure gate?

You have no need to go through immigration/security at Guangzhou airport, but you need to recheck your luggage.
