UK Citizen - China Visa

I am a UK citizen and have been asked to visit China (Shanghai) next week (2 or 3 days maximum) for business meetings.
Can I obtain a visa to visit China in Bangkok, how much will it cost and how long to process the visa?

You can try to obtain a China visa in Bangkok. It costs THB 1,100 for single entry visa. It takes 4 working days. If you don't have the invitation letter from the host company in Shanghai, you can click the major purpose of your visits to China for tourism on the visa application form, then the invitation letter is not required.
