Hi there, need your clarification and advise on visa entry to shanghai and beijing

We are singaporeans, one with united arab emirates residence visa on singapore passport and one with just singapore passport. we are travelling from dubai to beijing and shanghai. Do we need to apply for visa entry to china? It was indicated on another website that Singapore passport holders are allowed to enter China without visas for up to 15 days for tourism but this was changed due to to the Olypmic game 2008 and visa entry is required and whether this was reverted back to normal was unsure. Can you advise on the latest current visa entry requirement? Need or no need to apply visa for singapore passport holders?

Thanks for your time.

Now, this visa exemption rule has reverted back to normal. Singapore paspsort holders are exempt from a visa to Mainland China for up to 15 days.

Thanks Betty for the answer to my previous query. Another issue is a singapore passport holder with an UAE residence visa due to working in UAE but the passport is singapore passport -- any china visa required for entry to china?

A singapore passport holder with an UAE residence visa doesn't need a visa to Mainland China for up to 15 days, either.
